The Winners
The top award for the Best Film of the Festival went to Terry Elding whose stunning underwater videography and excellent editing made his study of life around a Maldive island absolutely fascinating.

The top three awards in each category were:

AMATEUR:
Portrait of diver & director Terry Elding.
Terry Elding from Peterborough is a professional diver but an amateur movie maker. He was not able to accept the award in person because he was under the sea! It was collected by Annette Witte who narrated the film's moving conservation message.
