Lee Prescott announcing his retirement. In one of England's beautiful rural areas there was an annual celebration of the best non-commercial movie making in the world. It came to an end on 6th September 2008 when ... Phil Martin receiving his award.
Lee Prescott announced that nine years after founding the Festival he is retiring. Mark Lipscomb presented Phil Martin with the Overall Best Film Award 2008.

There were hopes that a group of people with media interests would take on the Cotswold Festival, but they have subsequently declined to do so. A handful of people had been tipped off in advance  and sent video greetings to Lee. These edited highlights from their messages were screened at the end of the festival awards ceremony.
