The Festival took place in the South Cotswold town of Stroud
at The Subscription Rooms, Town Centre, Stroud, Gloucestershire. England.

CATEGORIES:

"A" Amateur
-
"B" Students & Young People: (Up to age 25 years in Full
Time Education)
-
"C" Open (including professionals)
PAYMENT:
-
U.K.- by personal cheque.
-
Europe EEC: bankers draft drawn in sterling. Or Euros. - no coins
-
Non EEC countries bankers draft drawn in sterling or equivalent currency
notes to which £2 equivalent must be added.

Abroad by a sterling draft or equivalent currency notes to which £2
equivalent must be added.
Notes:
Bank transfers / money orders / international coupons not accepted.
Euros rate = £1 (one GBP) = 1.50 euros - no coins, please round up.

Currency notes should be sealed in a separate envelope with "Prescott" written
on it and attached to the entry form. Do not declare on customs label.
TIME LIMITS:

Categories "A" & "B" 16 minutes including all titles.

Category "C" 22 minutes including all titles.
NOTES:
-
Films and Videos will be accepted on any lawful subject.
-
No film/video entered previously can be entered again.
-
Films/Videos entered must have been completed within the last 6 years.
JUDGING:
-
Entries will be judged WITHIN EACH CATEGORY and by TYPE.
i.e. Drama together, Documentaries together, Comedies together, Wild Life
together, Travel together and so on.

All Category "A" entries will be judged together within that Category and
"like with like".

All Category "B" entries will be judged together within that Category and
"like with like".
-
All Category "C" entries will be judged together within that Category and
"like with like".

1st. Place: Gold style Trophy plus cash prize

BEST FILM/VIDEO OVERALL in the Festival plus cash prize
"THE BEST OF BRITISH" TROPHY plus cash prize for the best entry on any aspect
of British way of life, past or present by any author.
This award is open only to Category "A" Amateur and Category "B" Students.
PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY OF AMERICA GOLD MEDAL
for Best Photography by any author / producer.
