On Saturday 1st September the festival screenings took place followed by the award presentations:

Daniel Griggs receives the Silver award for In the Shadows of the Light.	Mrs. P. Richardson on behalf of Altrincham accepts the Best of British award for The Pinnacle.	Dean Burman receives the Jessops Photography Award for Lair of the Water Wolf.
Terry Mendoza collects the Bronze award for Numbers on his own and Lester Redding's behalf.	Kodjo Akeseh Tsakpo received the Gold award for The End which won the open class.	Jim Whalley of Preston Movie Makers receives the Best Sound award for U-482.

Rebecca Tranter receives the Silver award in the open class for Tainted Wings.	Kay Bamford-Burnell receives the Overall Best Picture award on behalf of Ernst Auhuber for Silence After the Day.
CaroleOlyjnyk collects the special award for children's animation and the Student Awards on behalf of Studio Krok.	Robert Lorrimer receives the Best Editing award for Dream Car.
